YOH 854J  was my first Capri which I owned form1975 - 1981.  After I bought it I found it was first registered on 23/6/71 - my 17th birthday.  I figured this was some kind of fate - we were both street legal on the same day.  YOH was a 1600XL in garnet.  The photo shows the car in its final form - pretending to be a 3.0lt with its wing badges removed and sporting a power bulge bonnet.  Sadly YOH had to go in 1981 as I needed a reliable car and YOH had 102,000 on the original engine and the bodywork was somewhat lacking in metal!
